Boca Raton 4-Log Upgrades

Boca Raton is under construction to meet 4-Log requirements at their water treatment plant. Part of these upgrades include modifications to their two existing clear wells to increase detention time and ensure complete mixing of chemical solutions. To accomplish this, NEFCO fiberglass baffles walls and Statiflo static mixers are being added in the clearwell to create a serpentine path and the necessary mixing. Since the clearwells were already built and only accessible through small hatches, additional concrete walls would be cost prohibitive and mechanical mixers would not be easily accessible. The fiberglass baffle walls, and static mixers were designed to be broken down and reassembled inside the clearwell and static mixers do not require routine maintenance.
